APEXA is an industry initiative designed to streamline and simplify processes like contracting and compliance.
Please take the time to read this article in its entirety as it contains important information regarding the APEXA registration and on-boarding process.
If you are not registered yet you can complete the on-boarding process now. The registration process starts with an invitation from IDC Worldsource Insurance Network Inc. as your MGA.
The following process is what you can expect once you receive your invitation from IDC Worldsource Insurance to join APEXA.
You can use Live Chat on this page (bottom right corner) and ask the IDC WIN BIG team to get you started with your invitation.
You will then receive an Email notification:
STEP 1: Register
It is very important to choose the correct option in the email invite.
Choose the Get Started option if you DO NOT have an existing APEXA profile.
Choose Add My Contracts if you do have an existing APEXA profile.
STEP 2: Confirm your email address
This step only applies to those advisors who are NEW to APEXA and clicked GET STARTED in the APEXA invite. Once you have entered your name, email (the same email used to invite you into APEXA) and password you will receive a second email to confirm your account. Click on the confirmation and proceed to log into APEXA to set up your profile(s)

STEP 3: Gather the following items
Ensure you have the following items on-hand: (You will be required to input specific information from the documents and upload the documents as well.)
Your uninterrupted address history for the last 5 years, for both residential and business including (approx.) move in/move out dates
Digital copy of your provincial license(s)
Digital copy of your E&O Coverage policy or policies if you are incorporated
Advisor codes for any of the initial participating carriers that you do business with (Assumption, Beneva, BMO, Canada Life, CPP, Desjardins, Empire Life, Equitable Life, Foresters, Humania, Industrial Alliance, Manulife, RBC Insurance, Speciality Life and Sun Life).* This information is available in Bluesun Advisor Portal and required for verification purposes
Digital copy of your banking information (void cheque)
If you are corporately licensed, you will need a PDF copy of your Articles of Incorporation and;
Names and email addresses for shareholders who own 20% or greater. Each shareholder that owns 20% or greater will receive an email to complete their APEXA profile.
Digital (PDF) copy of your Advisor Disclosure/Privacy Statement
Digital (PDF) copy of your Needs Analysis/Fact Finder
You will need to confirm that you have a written and up to date AML Policies and Procedures
You will need to confirm that you have written and up to date Privacy Policies and Procedures
STEP 4: Complete Registration
This process takes approximately 45 minutes to complete and the steps are simple.
You will be required to complete a new Advisor Screening Questionnaire (ASQ), or CLHIA form as it is also known as.
Please Note: In future, you will need to complete an annual attestation of these questions.
All the contracts you have through IDC Worldsource Insurance Network (with the carriers as noted above) will now be visible on your profile under CONTRACTS.

STEP 5: Confirm your profile
Upon completion of your profile please ensure you select FINISH to finalize your profile set up.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
You may receive a request to complete a background check from www.mybackcheck.com
(Background checks are requested IF you are entering into a net new contractual relationship with a partner organization i.e. IDC WIN or carriers; and no criminal background check has been performed in the past 365 days)
It is important to note that if you do not complete your profile in full, you will be unable to request new contracts through APEXA.
